Ferretti
presents the 870 project, a model which is set to be launched coming
Spring 2012 and will replaces the 830. Designed again by long time
since 1990 Ferretti collaborator architect Giovanni Zuccon and the
Italian Group Advanced Yacht Technology department the 870 follows a lot
of the new looks present by the 2010 launched 800. The exterior line
in fact can make you think for this model to be a two and half deck,
which on actual facts it is not. The 870 will offer a four cabin lower
deck layout with a full beam owners stateroom, two VIP suites, and a
fourth guest cabin. A crew cabin sleeping from three to four persons is
located aft. The main deck continues Ferretti pure Italian layout of a
dining entertainment relaxing lounging area, separate galley, day head,
and a door divided pilot house to fore. The aft deck surprises for its
wet bar located to port side. Power will be from twin MTU 1948hp which
give an estimated project top speed of 30 knots to this seventy plus
tons motor yacht.
